Fines & Fixed Penalties
As the 'registered keeper', VizionDrive receives all notifications from the DVLA with regards to fines and penalties from speeding tickets to penalty charge notices.
Once the vehicle is identified and the registered keeper confirmed, a penalty notice will head in the mail.
This will be sent to the registered keeper within 14 days of the offence.
VizionDrive will receive the ticket and represent it to the bodyshop. It is then your responsibility to represent the charge to the correct policyholder and you can do this using the link –

or follow the representation instructions on the penalty notice
Parking tickets follow the same process except for parking tickets on the windshield. The policyholder can pay these immediately as you do not need to be the registered keeper to pay these fines.
Note though, that if the policyholder fails to pay the fine in time, they will have to pay double the fee than if they had paid it instantly.
With these fines and penalty notices, the funder reserves the right to pay these costs and invoice VizionDrive who in turn invoice the bodyshop once payment has been made.
VizionDrive has a standard administration fee of £25, this fee is simply to cover costs passed onto us by our funders, you may wish to pass onto the policyholder.
We strongly suggest a payment method is obtained from the policyholder prior to release of the vehicle so that any charges can be applied accordingly.
These fines can still be challenged subject to the provision of suitable evidence to support the challenge and these should be direct to VizionDrive to progress.
